The reptile show consists of 10-12 of our biggest ambassadors for a 60-75 minute presentation. Crosstown Exotic's reptile shows explore the prehistoric world of reptiles and amphibians and how they have been able to survive since the age of the dinosaurs as well as why they are important to the world we live in. Our reptile shows give audiences an up-close encounter with some of the planet's oldest and scaliest creatures.

Crosstown Exotics Bug show dives into the creepy crawly world of insects and arachnids. Audiences will learn about our crew of multi-legged friends and why they are important to the world we live in. Our bug shows will give audiences an up-close opportunity to encounter some of the planet's largest and strangest bugs.

Our displays consist of 2-3 tables filled with reptiles, amphibians and bugs. Patrons are able to hold and photograph animals at their leisure. We provide audience members with a special opportunity to safely pet live animals (reptile/bug), touch unique natural artifacts (bones, shed snake skin, turtle shell), and ask the educator questions. Great for expos, trade shows, fairs, festivals, block parties, park district events, corporate events, company picnics, S.T.E.M. fests, colleges and universities, and special events.

Crosstown Exotics captivates the attention and engagement of students while introducing important environmental and biological subjects, complementing the Illinois Learning Standards of grades K-8. We offer live animal (reptile/bug) shows for large groups, perfect for school assemblies, family nights, colleges, universities, school fairs, and other large events, plus classroom and after-school enrichment programs.
